About Mill & Main Barbershop — Your Local Barber Shop in Lexington
Meet the five barbers behind the chairs. Wondering if there's an opening today? Book online to see open times, or call or text to check.
How Mill & Main Barbershop Got Started
We've been cutting hair for years, and many of our clients have been with us just as long. In early 2026, we formed our own company and opened Mill & Main Barbershop together on East Main Street. New name, same great barbers.
Four of the five of us own the shop, so the people cutting your hair are the people running it. We got into this for the love of the craft. We wanted to take care of our clients and have fun doing it.
Our shop sits in a historic building. E.L. Taylor built it in 1932 as a general store that sold hardware, groceries and clothing. William Rhoten bought it in 1945, after coming home from World War II. It's been in the Rhoten family ever since.
Inside, you'll find leather chairs, framed records on the walls and no shortage of laughs. Regulars become friends here. Trooper Mike brings the whole shop coffee. That's the kind of place this is.

Meet the Barbers
Mill & Main Barbershop is an owner-operated barber shop on East Main Street in Lexington, SC. Stephanie, Tara, Austin, Rudy and Hansel cut hair, trim beards and shave with a straight razor. The shop is built for good conversation and a relaxed visit.

Stephanie Wolfe
Owner, Master Barber
Meet Stephanie, a master barber and part owner who has been cutting hair since 2013. She shines at straight razor shaves, beard shaping, faded mullets and taper fades. An artist at heart with an associate degree in arts, she sees hair as self-expression and checks your cut from every angle. She's a horror movie fan, but she's just as happy to cut in quiet if you'd rather relax. She's proud to be a safe space for everyone, and some clients have sat in her chair for years.

Tara Herlihy
Owner, Men's Stylist
Meet Tara. With 20 years behind the chair, she's known for her freehand fades and for making every client feel comfortable. She has a special talent with kids and makes visits fun for the whole family. As a part owner of the shop, she brings passion, skill and care to every cut. She's even flown out to cut hair for a client's wedding. Away from the shop, you'll find her on adventures with her wife and son, or relaxing at home with her two dogs.

Austin Whittle
Owner, Men's Stylist
Meet Austin, a part owner who has been cutting hair since 2012. She loves bringing your vision to life and specializes in mullets, fades and precision scissor cuts. She has a special passion for cutting kids' hair and is wonderful with children who need a little extra patience. She's also the only one in the shop who waxes, so book your Eyebrow Wax with Austin. Away from the chair, she's usually enjoying life with her three kids and loving on her cats.

Rudy Caceres
Owner, Master Barber
Meet Rudy, a master barber and part owner with 8 years behind the chair. Quality service matters to him, and attention to detail comes first. You can count on Rudy for a precise haircut or beard trim, and some regulars come back every two weeks to keep it sharp. He speaks English and Spanish. Outside the shop, he's into fitness, sports, reading and competitive gaming.

Hansel Caceres
Men's Stylist
Meet Hansel. She comes from a family of barbers, so her love for the craft started early. She enjoys meeting new people and making everyone feel welcome and comfortable in her chair. Hansel sees every client as a unique canvas and every cut as a chance to bring out their best. Barbering is more than a job to her. It's an art she truly loves. She speaks English and Spanish, and she's been known to fit in a walk-in on the spot.
